The sun chamber (performance venue)
Long version:
A landmark performance venue, designed from the ground up for acoustic precision and visual control.
Circular in layout, the structure is centered around an oval stage surrounded by tiered, colosseum-style seating. At full capacity, it remains remarkably intimate: the acoustics are engineered so that even a quiet conversation on the stage can carry to the furthest rows without amplification.
Its most striking feature is the ceiling: a fully integrated array of SED light panels, programmable to create anything from soft ambient daylight to a shadowless, high-intensity wash of white. These panels are frequently used to shape the visual tone of performances, or in some competitions, to strip away all visual distraction entirely.
The space hosts a wide range of events: small-scale sport competitions, public game matches, experimental theater, and music performances.
It's part of the city’s more corporate or tech-heavy districts.
The Garden Pavilion (Park)
The Garden Pavilion sits at the heart of a carefully maintained network of parks, enclosed on all sides by smooth concrete walls. The pavilion itself is a minimalist concrete platform, sheltered by a steel roof and entirely open-sided, designed for flexible use and maximum openness to its tranquil surroundings.
Integrated speakers discreetly project voices and ambient sound, enhancing the clarity of talks, demonstrations, or performances held here without disturbing the quiet character of the gardens. Seating is typically informal: cushions, benches, or low platforms arranged casually around the central open space.
Despite its stark construction, the pavilion feels inviting, often used for events that blend educational, social, and recreational purposes. While accessible to all, it maintains an atmosphere of quiet respect and reflection. The garden setting buffers the pavilion from city noise, creating a calm pocket ideal for focused gatherings or contemplative moments.
